Eligibility: Eligible for nomination are products or services that are designed for and made available to professional risk managers and that address one or more of the following risk management functions:

• risk identification, risk assessment/analysis, risk control, or risk financing

Judging: An independent panel of judges comprising active risk managers will review and select submissions for the awards between Jan. 1 and Jan. 20, 2016. Entries will be judged and scored based on the criteria outlined below. The highest-scoring entries, up to a maximum of 10, will be selected as recipients of 2016 Innovation Awards.

• Criterion 1: Demonstrates originality in serving the needs of professional risk managers
• Criterion 2: Product or service is relevant to core concerns of risk managers
• Criterion 3: Effectiveness in solving one or more problems in the risk management process of identifying, assessing/analyzing, controlling and/or financing risk
• Criterion 4: Presentation of product or service in terms of ease of use and understanding
• Criterion 5: Results achieved when implemented by risk managers
